back to leeds tomorrow for my final few weeks at uni. only 3 lectures remain - wow. these 3 years have gone so quickly! graduation will come and go before i know it. 

its all a little scary. 

for so long ive wished away the days, hoping to leave uni asap to get a job and be a responsible adult. and now its here, and its a little overwhelming. that said, i truly cannot wait to get to grips with a 9-5 job i love (hopefully) and enjoy the things that come with it, especially having money in my pocket. 

im sure going to miss living in leeds. but my biggest regret of the whole time is not enjoying it more. i should have made the most of it, and tried to make a ton of friends. instead, im the kind of person that would rather have a handful of good mates, than a massive gang of people i dont reallyyyyyy like/respect. leeds is FULL of fake, pretentious people and i have avoided them, but part of me thinks god, you’ve missed some fucking wild nights out. and ive missed forming extra strong, lasting friendships. i always get a little jealous when i look around and see big groups of friends who are super close. im not sure ill walk away from uni and have mates for life. dont get me wrong, theres a few people ill catch up with now and again, and chin wag with over facebook, but theres no stand out forever relationships. bit of a shame, but ah well. 

so, for the next few weeks, for the final time, im going to try and enjoy it a whole lot more. be a proper student! roll on the drinking, parties and fun! only 1 essay and exam stands in the way.
